MikroTik hAP ac3 MikroTik hAP ac3 is a dual-band Wi-Fi router with five gigabit RJ-45 ports. The elegant black chassis makes it an excellent router for home and office. The main advantage is support for the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, in the super-fast 802.11ac standard. Another advantage is the ability to connect a USB disk or 3/4G modem via a USB connector and support for passive PoE, thanks to which the router can power other external devices (e.g. a wAP unit). RouterBoard also offers high performance in the form of a 4-core Qualcomm IPQ-4019 processor operating at a frequency of 716 MHz and 256 MB of RAM. Two external antennas with high gain (3 to 5.5 dBi) and a total output of up to 26 dBm are designed for the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. The performance is provided by a powerful chipset from Qualcomm, thanks to which the unit can transfer data at a speed of 867 Mbps at a frequency of 5 GHz and 300 Mbps at a frequency of 2.4 GHz. This is a speed that is fully sufficient for playing video in UltraHD (4K) quality. The RouterBoard is supplied with a power supply and a bracket for wall mounting or horizontal/vertical placement. All devices with RouterOS MikroTik fully support IPv6, have a firewall, Queues, NAT and with an L4 license support the CAPsMAN server. MikroTik can be configured via a web interface, a mobile application, or the winbox program, which can be downloaded from mikrotik.com. MikroTik has a "Quick Set" option for quick setup.
