Tento adaptér umožňuje propojit DisplayPort výstup se dvěmi DisplayPort monitory a na každém zobrazovat jiný obraz.Například se dá využít k vytvoření rozšířené plochy na dvou monitorech viz fotografie v příloze jako příklad použití.

- Podporuje MST (multi stream transport), přenos dvou obrazů přes jeden DP konektor
- Použitelné rozlišení DisplayPort: 8K@60Hz s DSC a 8K@30Hz bez DSC, 4K@60Hz a FULL HD 1080p
- Adaptér MST umožňuje použití tří režimů: 1. Přenos dvou různých obrázků na dva monitory 2. Rozšíření jednoho obrázku na dvě obrazovky 3. Zobrazení dvou stejných obrázků na dvou monitorech
- Podmínkou správného fungování je Displayport 1.2 a vyšší, který podporuje MST (multi stream transport)
- Napájení ze sběrnice DisplayPort, na zadní straně adaptéru je přídavný micro USB konektor pro případ nedostatečného napájení ze sběrnice DisplayPort, přes který je možné připojit přídavné napájení z USB 5V.

This adapter allows you to connect the DisplayPort output to two DisplayPort monitors and display a different image on each. For example, it can be used to create an extended area on two monitors, see the photos in the appendix as an example of use.

- MacOS does not support Multi-Stream Transport (MST), so Extended mode is not available, but only Mirror and Duplicate. Apple devices themselves enable the MST feature, but must be run with an OS other than MacOS.
