Synology SA3200D
The 2U rack-mount NAS server is an affordable solution for businesses looking for efficient centralized data management. It features two active-passive controllers interconnected by a reliable high-speed non-transparent bridge (NTB) for maximum functionality and redundancy. Together with the built-in Synology High Availability service, the device is designed to provide real-time system-level protection to maximize service availability and minimize system downtime.
Each controller is powered by a quad-core Intel Xeon D-1521 processor clocked at 2.4 GHz , supplemented by 8 GB of ECC memory. Connection to the corporate network is provided through 2x RJ-45 10 GbE and 4x RJ-45 GbE ports. Twelve slots for 3.5" or 2.5" hot-swappable drives are available for data storage. The device includes two PCIe slots supporting optional 10/25 GbE network cards increasing overall throughput. AES-NI hardware encryption is a matter of course. This model is equipped with a redundant power supply with a power of 2x 500 W.
The SA3200D uses the intuitive and user-friendly web-based operating system DiskStation Manager (DSM), which is available for all Synology hardware platforms, offering IT administrators a unified user experience that eliminates the need to adapt to different user interfaces and make complex configuration settings.
