Optical Line Terminal OLT is the central unit for building a GPON network. It contains two control units and two slots for service boards (e.g. DS-LGPA-16 and DS-LGPA-08), which can offer up to 32 GPON ports or 32× XGS-PON & GPON combined ports . It supports a splitting ratio of 1:128 for GPON services and 1:256 for XGS-PON . It supports redundant power supply of AC 100-240V and DC -38.4-57.6V .
