PoE extender for extending a 1000Base-T Ethernet segment from 100 m to longer distances including support for IEEE 802.3af/at power supply.

Solution for extending an Ethernet segment including increasing the PoE (power over Ethernet) power supply range. This is a simple device that allows you to extend the maximum length of an Ethernet segment from 100 m to 200 m or up to 500 m, while maintaining power supply for IEEE 802.3at devices at the end of the line.

The extender application is ideal for use in places where IP cameras or wireless access points are used at longer connection distances. In terms of price, this is a cheap extension of the possibility of installing powered devices in places further away from the central switch or rack. The use consists of simply inserting the extender on a broken line.
