You can also set up backup schedules with automatic connection and disconnection using the MyArchive utility. The internal 120 mm fan automatically adjusts its speed according to the temperature of the hard drive, maintaining a balance between noise and performance. The device also works well as a DAS . By connecting to a computer, you get access to up to four independent drives that can be used on a Windows, Mac or Linux computer for applications that include data storage, drive cloning, and diagnostics, among others.
