The IGS-820TF-PN industrial switch is designed specifically for demanding industrial applications and supports PROFINET Conformance Class A (CC-A) for reliable communication in automation networks. It features 6 10/100/1000Base-T RJ-45 ports with auto-MDI/MDI-X function and 2 100/1000Base-X SFP ports for flexible optical connectivity.

The switch features a robust design in an IP30 metal housing and is capable of operating in extreme conditions with a temperature range of -40 to +75°C . Dual redundant power supply DC 9–48 V or AC 24 V with reverse polarity protection ensures high system availability and automatic switching in the event of a power failure.

PROFINET communication with higher priority
The switch automatically recognizes PROFINET traffic and assigns it a higher delivery priority than other Ethernet traffic. It supports PTCP filtering for reliable communication in PROFINET networks and is ideal for factory automation and control applications.

Optical interconnection and network expansion
Two SFP ports support dual speeds with compatibility for both 100Base-FX and 1000Base-SX/LX modules. They allow transmission distances from 550 meters to 2 kilometers on multimode fiber and up to 120 kilometers for singlemode or WDM fibers.

Advanced network features
Integrated 4K MAC address table, 9K jumbo packet support, broadcast storm control and runt/CRC filtering optimize network bandwidth. Flow control mechanisms ensure lossless data transmission under full load.

Industrial durability
Certification according to IEC 60068-2-32 (free fall), IEC 60068-2-27 (shock) and IEC 60068-2-6 (vibration) guarantees reliability in demanding industrial conditions.
