Automatic features ensure a hassle-free ( Plug and Play ) installation of this Gigabit switch. No configuration is required. Auto MDI/MDI-X on all ports eliminates the need for crossover cables or uplink ports. Auto-negotiation on each port senses the connection speed of the network device (either 10 or 100 Mbps) and intelligently adjusts it for compatibility and optimal performance. The compact size of the case is ideal for desktops with limited space; the device can be conveniently and securely mounted in a rack. Dynamic LED indicators display real-time status and provide basic error diagnostics.

The rack-mountable metal housing combined with a safe, certified internal power supply makes the switch the most robust solution at a very affordable price for connecting up to 24 users. Using a non-blocking switching architecture, the TL-SF1024 forwards and filters packets at full wire speed to ensure maximum throughput. With the Jumbo 10K frame, significant acceleration has been achieved in transferring large files.
