The Dell Intel X710-T2L Network Adapter is an ideal solution for connecting servers and workstations to high-speed networks. The card uses BASE-T technology , allowing the use of standard Cat6A/Cat7 copper cables to achieve 10 Gigabit speeds .

The product is tested and validated on Dell systems and is fully supported by Dell Technical Support when used with compatible Dell systems. The card is supplied in a Full Height design for installation into standard PCIe slots.

Compatible systems
The card is compatible with Dell Pro Max Tower T2 (FCT2250 and XE FCT2250), the entire Precision Workstation line including the 3650, 3660, 3680, 5820, 5860, 7820, 7865, 7875, 7920, 7960 and their XE/XL variants. The Precision R3930 rackmount systems are also supported.

BASE-T technology
The use of the BASE-T standard allows for 10 Gigabit speeds over standard structured cabling, which eliminates the need for special fiber optic cables and reduces the cost of implementing a high-speed network.
