PLANET MGB-2GTRJ is a high-performance SFP transceiver specially designed to work with PLANET products with 2.5G SFP interface. It enables you to build a high-speed 2.5Gbps Ethernet network over metallic lines for enterprises, telecommunications companies and Internet service providers.

The transceiver is fully compliant with the SFP Multisource Agreement (MSA) standard and offers hot-plug installation into any compatible SFP port without the need to power down the host device. With a wide temperature range of -40 to +85 °C, it is ideal for deployment in industrial applications with demanding climatic conditions.

Flexible deployment in network infrastructure
The MGB-2GTRJ transceiver can be installed in PLANET switches equipped with SFP mini-GBIC interfaces. Deployment allows you to extend the network infrastructure with a transmission distance of up to 100 meters over metallic lines.
