Industrial Ethernet switches are designed for demanding operating conditions with a wide range of operating temperatures, unstable power supply and frequent shocks. Versions of the switches of the series with an extended temperature range and waterproof design with the possibility of application in vehicles according to EN50155.
The IGS series switches are easily installed on a standard DIN rail or directly on the wall, enabling the deployment of well-known Ethernet technology in industrial environments. They are also suitable for installations in outdoor cabinets with large fluctuations in operating temperatures (typically wireless and MAN ISP applications).
It is very robust, waterproof with an IP67 rating and is constructed in an aluminum housing, the Ethernet ports use special industrial waterproof RJ-45 connectors with ESD protection against electrostatic discharge.
