Description

XtendLan LANTESTLCD75-SOUND

Extended tester with a detection probe for searching for cable connections. Non-contact detection, sound and light signaling. Integrated filter on the probe against false tone detection from other devices. Determines the correct pin connection and approximate cable length.
The probe detects sound from the main transmitter unit (a simple melody). But it can also detect a live Ethernet cable plugged into an Ethernet switch. This way you can distinguish between a plugged and unplugged Ethernet cable, or any other cable under voltage, by sound.
