The EAP225-Outdoor access point supports simultaneous dual-band data rates of up to 1167 Mbps . And because it features 802.11ac Wave 2 MU-MIMO technology, it can communicate with multiple clients simultaneously, making it ideal for high-traffic environments.
Thanks to its high transmission power and high-gain omnidirectional antennas, the EAP225-Outdoor access point provides stable wireless signal coverage with an outdoor range of over 200 meters in the 2.4 GHz band and over 300 meters in the 5 GHz band.
The access point supports both the 802.3af PoE standard and passive PoE power supply, so it can be powered from a PoE switch or using the included PoE adapter.
The specially designed housing met the IP65 protection class during testing, thus protecting the access point from adverse outdoor conditions.
Thanks to Omada controller software, small and medium-sized businesses can control hundreds of outdoor and indoor access points from one location.
