Backup 12 V, 7 Ah lead-acid battery in VRLA (AGM) design suitable for applications without frequent cycling with a reliable backup source.
This is a design in which the internal pressure is regulated by valves (VRLA - valve regulated lead acid = valve-controlled lead-acid batteries ). The advantages of this design, together with AGM technology (Absorbed Glass Mat - although the battery contains electrolyte in a liquid state, it is absorbed into fiberglass microfibers , or so-called glass wool, which means it is firmly bound in the interior of the battery cells, and its leakage is practically excluded ). Battery maintenance
To achieve optimal battery life with frequent cyclic operation, it is necessary to respect the maximum permitted depth of discharge of 80% specified by the ČSN EN 61044 standard.
When storing batteries for a longer period of time, it is necessary to ensure their continuous charging. At a storage temperature of 25 °C, charge every 6 months, if the temperature is higher, charge more often.
Operating temperature range: charging -15 to 40 °C, discharging -15 to 50 °C, storage -10 to 40 °C. Prolonged exposure of batteries to temperature extremes shortens their lifespan.

Alternative RBC battery pack for APC backup power supplies. These kits always consist only of backup batteries and no accessories are supplied with them. In particular, no cables, connectors or connectors. This is the cheapest option for replacing batteries in APC backup power supplies. Simply remove your original battery pack called RBC from the backup power supply, if the type of APC power supply to which the replacement pack belongs allows it (in some power supplies, the user cannot replace the battery himself, but this service activity must be performed by a specialist). After removing the original battery pack, thoroughly check and record the connection of any cables and connectors, and then disconnect them. Do not get rid of any accessories, they will be used to connect the new set if it includes more than 1 battery. Some types of RBC packs contain batteries that are connected to each other using adhesives, most often thick double-sided adhesive tape is used. You can either replace this tape or use another battery connection system, e.g. Knock the batteries together and wrap the sides with transparent adhesive insulating tape in several layers. This ensures a sufficient connection.
Some RBC models contain only a single battery, which can then be simply removed from the APC backup device and replaced piece by piece.
