GOOWEI ENERGY 6-EVF-100
Backup 12 V, 100 Ah lead-acid battery in VRLA (GEL) design suitable for applications where frequent and deep discharge/cycling occurs, mainly for electric motor drives.
This is a design in which the internal pressure is regulated by valves (VRLA - valve regulated lead acid = valve-controlled lead-acid batteries ). Hybrid GEL technology = the electrolyte is solidified in a hybrid gel (combination with AGM), and is thus firmly bound in the interior of the battery cells, thus eliminating its leakage. The extra strong cell grid ensures very high cyclic resistance (around 600 cycles at 80% DOD = depth of discharge 80%). The advantages are mainly these:

- absolutely maintenance-free (in terms of water refilling)
- much longer cycle life than a conventional battery
- shockproof
- leakproof – spill-proof, the battery can operate continuously at an angle of up to 90°

The batteries are primarily intended for the following applications:
- power supply for electric motors (electric scooters, electric tricycles, electric tricycles)
- healthcare (medical trolleys, medical beds, stair climbers, etc.)
- motorhomes (caravans, trailers, appliance power supply)
- ships, boats, sailboats (for electric motors and for powering appliances)

In applications where batteries are connected in series, we recommend including a protective element - a balancer , which ensures voltage balance between individual batteries. Including this element prevents battery damage and contributes to achieving maximum battery life.
Battery maintenance
The battery's cyclic life is approximately 1200 cycles / 50% DOD (50% DOD = depth of discharge 50%) at 25°C. To achieve optimal battery life in cyclic operation, the maximum permissible depth of discharge of 80% DOD specified by the ČSN EN61044 standard must be respected.
When storing batteries for a longer period of time, it is necessary to ensure their continuous charging. At a storage temperature of 25 °C, charge every 6 months, if the temperature is higher, charge more often.
Operating temperature range: charging -15 to 40 °C, discharging -15 to 50 °C, storage -10 to 40 °C. Prolonged exposure of batteries to temperature extremes shortens their lifespan.
