Next-generation firewall with FirePOWER services. It offers throughput of up to 650 Mbps (NGFW and NGIPS), is equipped with a 200 GB M.2 SSD and 8 GB DDR4 RAM. It has 8 x GbE RJ-45 with PoE+ support on the last two ports (from Firepower 6.5 and ASA version 9.13). It can be managed through the Cisco FirePOWER Management Center, which provides complete visibility over the entire network. The 1000 series platforms use Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) and Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) software.
