Spice up your Evo bot programming

The little Evo robot can do a lot – it plays all sorts of sounds, puts on a light show and does cool moves. But it can't overcome higher obstacles on its own. Get it a new partner , the Ozobot Crawler, to help it with this and expand its range of motion! The Crawler's design resembles a beetle. It has a total of six legs that move in different patterns depending on the desired type of programmed movement. Their coordination is ensured by several connecting rods. The ends of the legs that touch the running surface are equipped with rubber rings for better traction. A very important part of the Crawler is the saddle. Evo clicks into it using a system of protrusions and grooves. Once it is firmly seated in its place, nothing prevents the energy from its drive wheels from being transferred to the new limbs!

Choose from two encoding methods

Students can program Evo to move with their feet in the Ozobot Blockly drag-and-drop coding editor or by controlling the Evo Crawler Drive app. Whichever way they choose, Crawler provides endless possibilities for engagement and creativity. Take the robot on a thrilling ride, play with changing speed and direction, and perform crazy dance moves! Watch as the mechanical parts work together in perfect coordination.
