PLANET ICS-2100T
PLANET ICS-2100T is designed to convert RS232, RS422 or RS485 serial communication to industrial Fast Ethernet for cost-effective network expansion. There is one 10/100BASE-TX RJ-45 port for your network needs. The converter offers a time-saving and cost-effective solution for users and system integrators to quickly transform their serial devices to Ethernet without having to replace existing serial devices and software system.
Remote management is a given, enabling efficient management via Web, Telnet and VCOM . It supports both application and serial operating modes for alarm or IP address connection, saving network administrator time in detecting and locating network problems without visually inspecting cabling and devices. Multiple connection options are available for large network environments. In addition, it provides stable performance in harsh conditions and has a high level of immunity to electromagnetic interference and strong electrical surges that are typically found on facility floors or in traffic control cabinets. A wide operating temperature range allows the device to be placed in almost any harsh environment. The compact metal housing with IP30 protection allows for DIN rail or wall mounting for efficient use of cabinet space. The power supply provides an integrated redundant power supply with a wide voltage range of 9 to 48 V DC / 24 V AC , which is ideal for global operation with high-speed applications requiring dual or backup power.
The Fault Alarm feature notifies users when a server error occurs, saving time spent troubleshooting, and helps diagnose abnormal device behavior due to network interruptions or reboots.
