PLANET ICS-2200T
PLANET ICS-2200T is designed to convert RS232, RS422 or RS485 serial communication to industrial Fast Ethernet network to effectively and inexpensively extend network distance. Two 10/100BASE-TX RJ-45 ports are available for your network needs. The converter offers a time-saving and cost-effective solution for users and system integrators to quickly transform their serial devices to Ethernet without having to replace existing serial devices and software system.
Remote management is a given, enabling efficient management via Web, Telnet and VCOM . It supports both application and serial operating modes for alarm or IP address connection, saving network administrator time in detecting and locating network problems without visually inspecting cabling and devices. Multiple connection options are available for large network environments. In addition, it provides stable performance in harsh conditions and has a high level of immunity to electromagnetic interference and strong electrical surges that are typically found on facility floors or in traffic control cabinets. A wide operating temperature range allows the device to be placed in almost any harsh environment. The compact metal housing with IP40 protection allows for either DIN rail or wall mounting for efficient use of cabinet space. The power supply provides an integrated 12 to 48V DC wide voltage range, ideal for worldwide operation with high-speed applications requiring dual or backup power.
The Fault Alarm function will notify users when there is an error on the server. This saves time and human resources for troubleshooting. It also helps diagnose abnormal device behavior due to network disconnection or reboot. The digital input and output for external alarm helps users detect and record the status of, for example, a door intrusion detector, and then immediately send an alarm to the administrator.
