PLANET GT-915A

Ethernet RJ-45 10/100/1000 Base-T to miniGBIC (SFP 100/1000 Base-X) optical converter. Converts metallic Ethernet to optical Gigabit Ethernet via an embedded miniGBIC (SFP) converter module.

Converter for transition between optical and metallic connection for Gigabit Ethernet. Requires purchase of compatible miniGBIC optical module.

The GT-915A features auto MDI/MDI-X on the TP port and integrated Link Fault Pass-through (LFP). The LFP function includes Link Loss Carry Forward (LLCF) and Link Loss Return (LLR), which can immediately alert administrators to link media problems and provide an effective solution for network monitoring.
