The DHI-HY-SA40E smoke detector uses innovative split-spectrum sensor technology for fast and accurate smoke detection with minimal false alarms. The device is equipped with a built-in CR123A lithium battery with a lifespan of 10 years , which ensures long-term and maintenance-free operation.

The detector offers a loud 85dB sound output at a distance of 3 meters and combines visual and audible signaling when smoke is detected. Convenient features include the ability to mute using an infrared remote control and easy testing with a single button.

Advanced detection technology
Split-spectrum photoelectric technology enables fast response to smoke with an alarm threshold of 0.2–0.3 dB/m. A sampling period of 9 seconds ensures continuous monitoring of the environment.

Intelligent status indication
The green LED flashes once per minute in standby mode, the red LED signals an alarm by flashing once per second and a fault twice per minute.

Flexible space coverage
One detector covers an area of 20-40 m² at a height of up to 8 meters, making it ideal for residential use.
