The optical cable with fire reaction class Eca is suitable for indoor and outdoor installations. The outer sheath of the optical cable itself is of the LS0H type, so it is low-smoke and halogen-free in the event of ignition. The sheath also contains a special mixture that makes the optical cable UV stable. The optical cable has a very high tensile strength of 1000 N. The Corning fibers used (G.657.A2) have high flexibility, which allows for excellent transmission and installation properties in confined spaces and wherever multiple separate connections need to be laid out.
