- Spilled liquids
- Accidental drops and falls

Examples of accidental hardware damage where the hardware unit will be repaired or replaced:
- Liquid spilled on or into the unit
- Drops, falls, and other impacts
- Electrical surge
- Damage or destruction of the LCD display due to a fall
